Become a "Santa's Helper" and Help Local Non-Profits

Volunteer you time and help a Forney non-profit raise $$$!

The City of Forney is seeking the help from "Santa's Helpers" to get Forney Community Park ready for the Holiday season. Those willing to volunteer can turn their hours into $ for a local non-profit.

Every Monday during the 2019 Forney on Ice Season the City of Forney hosts a Give Back Day. Partnering organizations will receive a % of tickets sold on these days. The more hours an organization has the higher the percentage.

In order to secure their spot each non-profit must obtain a minimum of 15 hours of ACCUMULATIVE volunteer service during one or more of the City's Community Decorating Days at Forney Community Park. (Example 5 volunteers each donate 3 hours for a total of 15 hours).

You can help these non-profits reach their Volunteer hour goal by "earmarking" your hours for one of the following non-profits: Forney Education Foundation, Forney Food Pantry, Forney Lions Club, Forney PAWS, Sharing the Love Foundation. The more volunteer hours the organization earns the more $ they could get back.

Volunteers must be 16 years or older. Any volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult/sponsor. Hours may also be applied to required service hours needed for local or ISD student groups.
