Warren Ketteman, Executive Director of the Forney Economic Development Corporation has been awarded re-certification by the International Economic Development Council (IEDC). Mr. Ketteman first achieved the Certified Economic Development designation in 2004. CeCD recertification, required every three years, was awarded to Mr. Ketteman, who met demanding requirements for continuing education and service to the profession. With 20 years of economic development experience, Mr. Ketteman has served Forney since 2015. In that time, he has assisted with several major projects including the Downtown redevelopment and the Goodyear project.
The designation of Certified Economic Developer (CeCD) is a highly recognized national recognition that denotes a mastery of principal skills in economic development, professional attainment and a commitment to professional growth. Mr. Ketteman first earned his certification by passing a rigorous three-part, two-day examination, testing his knowledge, proficiency and judgement in the key areas of economic development.
